Hello! Is there an example of running detekt-compiler-plugin with bare kotlinc, without the Gradle plugin? I cannot use Gradle in my build system and the only option I have is manually invoking kotlinc. I have tried to do it the following way:
While it finished without any errors, there is nothing from Detekt. If I analyze the same file with the Gradle plugin, I get some warnings from the style ruleset (e.g. UseCheckOrError). The plugin appears to be initialized, because it parses and validates the arguments: for example, if I try to supply an invalid argument (e.g. I guess I'm missing something. A working example would really help. I also think that a minimal fully-functioning example of using compiler plugin with the CLI should be included into the docs. |

Instead of the
detekt-compiler-plugin
, the uber-jar version (detekt-compiler-plugin-all
) should be used. After #7179, it will be published to GH Releases and Maven. The information about that is added into the docs in #7184
