While recording my World of Warcraft gameplay, using AV1 amd gpu encoder, after some amount of time, usually 2 or 3 hours, the screen goes black and OBS stops recording and AMD driver reports that a driver timeout has occurred. The game resumes shortly after, and the computer is still in a usable state.
Steps to Reproduce
Open world of warcraft
Start recording via AV1
Play game until error occurs

CPU: 7800X3D, runs at around 75 C while playing and recording
GPU: 7900 GRE, runs at around 68 C while playing and recording
32 GB of RAM
amd minimal driver 24.3.1
I turned off windows HAGS and set my desktop audio sample rate to match the 48k i had set in OBS
I got a similar hang recording with H265 except the error was that the device was removed. I've started running OBS as admin and it seems to have helped.
Edit: While running as admin seems to reduce frequency of hanging, it hung again.
